The assistant
VNCboard carries the suite assistant as a small floating control in the corner of every page. It is there to answer questions about VNCboard itself.
Open it
Section titled “Open it”- Select the assistant pill in the corner of the page. A panel opens over the board with an input box.
- Press Esc, or the close control, to dismiss it.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- It answers how-to questions about VNCboard — for example, how to add a board, go live, or share a read-only link. Its answers are grounded in the VNCboard documentation, so it describes this product’s actual behaviour.
- It is read-only: it never changes a board, shares a board, or acts on your behalf. Asking it something is never a change to your data.
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”- It does not edit boards or run actions.
- It is scoped to VNCboard documentation. For questions about a different suite product, open that product and use its own assistant.
