Use the assistant
The VNCcrm assistant answers questions about your CRM in plain language and can help you make changes — but it never changes anything on its own.
Open it
Section titled “Open it”- Click the small assistant button in the corner of the app. The chat panel opens.
- Type a question, for example “Which opportunities are at risk?” or “Summarise my pipeline”, and Send.
The assistant starts with a few suggested questions you can click to begin.
What you get back
Section titled “What you get back”- An answer grounded in your own CRM data (or the app’s help), not a generic reply.
- Citations — the deals, contacts or companies the answer was based on, each as a chip you can click to open the record.
- A grounding footer such as “Based on your CRM: 12 deals · 40 contacts · 15 companies…” so you can judge how much data stood behind the answer.
- Follow-up chips — ask another question, or open the matching view.
Making changes safely
Section titled “Making changes safely”You can phrase a command — “log a call with Meridian tomorrow”, “update the amount on this deal to 40,000”, “add a comment …” — and the assistant will propose it rather than do it.
A Confirm card appears with the fields it understood, and you can edit them. Nothing is saved until you click Confirm; Cancel discards the proposal. The server re-checks the proposal against your access before it runs.
Your conversation
Section titled “Your conversation”- The conversation is kept per user, so it survives closing the tab or switching device.
- You can clear the conversation at any time.
- You can rate an answer Helpful or Not helpful; administrators can see a quality summary of the assistant.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The assistant is advisory — it answers and proposes, it does not act silently.
- If a model is not available, it says so instead of inventing an answer.
- It runs on the platform’s own model inside your estate for the parts that touch your records.
