The Users console
The Users page is one list of every person in the tenant — not just the people on the unit you have open. Use it when you need the tenant-wide picture: who exists, where they sit, their role and their seat state.
Open it
Section titled “Open it”In the left navigation, under Platform, select Users (👥). The list loads from the same data the directory console already holds, but across the whole tenant.
What each row shows
Section titled “What each row shows”| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Person | The person’s name and job title. |
| Their primary email address. | |
| Unit | The unit of their primary placement. |
| Row type / role | Their placement type and role title (for example member). |
| Seat | The seat status — active, suspended or retained. |
Placements are seat-neutral: a person may be placed on more than one unit, but only their canonical seat carries a lifecycle.
Search
Section titled “Search”Type in Search users to filter by name, email, unit or role. The header shows how many are shown and the tenant total.
Act on a person
Section titled “Act on a person”- Select a name to open the person drawer and edit their details.
- Use the row’s lifecycle control to suspend, reactivate or retain a person.
- + Add person adds an internal user.
- + Provision provisions a sign-in for someone via the guided provisioning form.
Relation to the unit view
Section titled “Relation to the unit view”The unit view shows the people on one unit (and, with Include subtree, its children). The Users page is the tenant-wide alternative — the same rows, without a unit filter.
