Notification Center

VNCcrm keeps you informed about the deals and contacts you care about. There are two places to see notifications, and both open the record they are about.

The bell in the top bar shows a count of your unread notifications. Open it to see the list; each row tells you what happened and opens the record it refers to (for example, opening the deal that was just assigned to you). Mark all read clears the badge.

Notifications are raised for the people a record concerns:

You are told when… Seen by
A deal is assigned to you The new assignee
A deal’s stage changes The people on the deal
A deal is won or lost The people on the deal
An activity is assigned to you The assignee

A notification is delivered to the recipients — never to the person who made the change, so you are not notified about your own edits.

Your account menu → Notifications pane shows a shared feed that the platform gathers across the products you are entitled to. So the same panel can list a VNCcrm deal update alongside items from other suite apps; opening an item takes you straight to the record, and mark all read clears the feed across your products. See Your account menu.

Where desktop notifications are enabled for your device, a concise notification is also pushed to your operating system — for example “Deal assigned to you” or “Deal won” — and clicking it opens the record. Notifications that concern a deal, contact, company, activity, campaign or subscription all carry a link back to that record.

The top of the bell carries your notification rail for this browser:

  • Turn on asks the browser for permission and registers this device on your own notification topic. Notifications arrive from our own infrastructure, so nothing is sent through Google, Apple or another push provider.
  • Send test notification publishes one message to your topic and reads it back, so you can prove the rail works instead of guessing. It reports the round trip in milliseconds, or the exact reason it failed.
  • Turn off unregisters this device. Your other devices keep their own subscription; the topic always belongs to you alone.
  • If the browser has blocked notifications, the panel says so. Allow them in the site settings and reload.

The rail shares the same topic as the desktop tray and the mobile app, so a notification you read here is not a different feed.
