Install VNCproject and use it on a phone
VNCproject is an installable web app. You can pin it to your home screen or desktop and it keeps working when the connection is poor.
Install it as an app
Section titled “Install it as an app”- Open VNCproject in your browser.
- Choose your browser’s Install / Add to Home Screen action (the install icon in the address bar, or the browser menu).
- Confirm — VNCproject opens in its own window, without the browser chrome.
Offline behaviour
Section titled “Offline behaviour”VNCproject ships an offline app shell:
- If you lose your connection, the app still opens — showing its shell and an Offline page — instead of a blank error.
- When you are back online, your data loads as usual.
- Your signed-in content is never cached on the device — only the static app shell is; authenticated pages and data are always fetched fresh.
On a phone (the mobile area rail)
Section titled “On a phone (the mobile area rail)”On a narrow screen (up to about 860 px wide) the layout adapts:
- The area rail — normally a vertical strip down the left — becomes a horizontal, scrollable bar across the top, with the current area marked.
- The sub-navigation for the current area becomes a horizontal strip below it; section group labels are hidden to save space.
- Tables scroll horizontally rather than squeezing, and the drawer fills the screen width.
- Touch controls are sized for a finger (about 44 px).
