Create a poll

A poll asks the room a question with a set of choices.

Steps

1. In a room, open ⋯ More → Poll.
2. Give the poll a question and add the options (one per line).
3. Optionally turn on Allow multiple answers, and set Limit answering time to give the poll a closing time.
4. Publish it.

Result

The poll appears in the thread; members vote and the running counts update. A multiple-answer poll lets each member choose more than one option. A poll with a deadline shows Voting ends … while it is open and then Poll closed, after which the votes are frozen. Polls are recorded in the room’s history like any other message.
