Timeline and AI Brief

The shared account control can show a person’s Timeline — their activity across the whole suite in one column. VNCworkflow reads it from the platform person index, the suite-wide activity index that every product feeds.

For a person, the timeline gathers activity from the products they use, newest first:

  • Requests — the VNCworkflow requests they raised, forwarded, decided or commented on.
  • Mail, chat, calls, meetings, tasks and files from the other products.
  • Channel and project items where those products are in use.

So when you open a person — your own account included — you see their requests next to their other suite activity, not in a silo.

Where the cell’s index provides one and the host enables it, an AI Brief summarises the person’s recent activity in a short paragraph. It is a reading aid, never a record: it changes nothing. Where no brief is available, none is shown and the panel is simply shorter — nothing is invented.

The timeline shows only what you are allowed to see. It is permission-scoped in the platform index, and the platform’s service credential stays server-side — your browser never receives it. Nothing is copied out of the products you can already read.

If the cell has no person index configured, the timeline shows an honest empty state (no activity yet) rather than an error or placeholder entries. The rest of VNCworkflow works exactly as before.
