Manage notifications
VNCcontacts tells you when something needs you — a record assigned to you, a list shared with you — and the same notifications also appear in your Own Avatar across the whole suite.
The bell
Section titled “The bell”- Select the bell in the top bar. A badge shows the unread count.
- The list opens newest first, each item with a short title, a body and a relative time (just now, 4m ago).
- Select an item to mark it read and open the record it refers to.
- Use Mark all read to clear them in one step.
The cross-product center
Section titled “The cross-product center”The same notifications are collected in the Own Avatar → Notifications view, so one place shows what happened in VNCcontacts and the other suite products you use. Each entry deep-links to its record, so a notification about a contact opens that contact here, and one about another product opens it there.
Get notified away from the browser
Section titled “Get notified away from the browser”- On the web, VNCcontacts is installable as an app (see Work offline and sync) and can raise system notifications.
- The desktop app adds a tray icon and an unread badge (see Install the desktop app).

Section titled “Result”You catch up in one pass and land on the record, not just the headline.
