VNCphone
VNCphone is the mobile part of the core technologies: the module that makes the suite an outstanding mobile experience rather than a shrunken website. It combines three requirements that are usually traded against each other — usability, versatility and data protection — on a phone that belongs to an employee and may hold sensitive communication.
The phone is where a modern employee actually works: between meetings, on the train, at a customer site. A sovereign workplace that works only in the browser on a desktop is not sovereign in practice. VNCphone is the answer to that gap.
What it delivers
Section titled “What it delivers”- An experience designed for the device. Navigation, gestures and layouts made for a phone, not a squeezed desktop view.
- Versatility across the suite. One mobile entry point to chat, mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, files and the assistant, instead of a separate app with its own login per product.
- Data protection on a device that can be lost. The device holds an encrypted local store, and data protection is designed into the mobile path rather than assumed from the server side.
- The same identity. One suite sign-in, one presence, one notification stream.
- Offline capability. Work continues without a connection and reconciles when it returns.
