VNCtask is the task manager of the suite, built around two priorities that
usually pull in opposite directions: capture must be instant, and the
resulting work must stay organised. A task is created in seconds — from the app,
from a message, or by asking the assistant — and then carries everything the work
needs: owner, due date, subtasks, blockers, attachments, time.
It is deliberately not tied to a project. VNCtask is where an individual and a team
keep their work, whether or not it belongs to a managed project. It is available on
web, as a desktop app and on mobile, and it keeps working when the network does not.
- Fast capture. A short form, a keyboard path and an assistant; a task exists
before the thought is gone.
- Work that survives complexity. Subtasks with rolled-up progress, dependencies
and blockers, recurrence, reminders and time tracking.
- The whole team in view. Board and list views, grouping, filters, watchers and
mentions.
- Work anywhere. Web, desktop and mobile, with an offline cache and a queued
replay when the connection returns.
- Evidence. An audit view of every change, and reports on completion and time.

- An employee captures a task while reading a message, sets a due date, and finds
it in My Work the next morning.
- A team runs its week on the board, moves cards between statuses, and uses
reports to see completion and time per person.
- A recurring operational task regenerates itself each time it is completed.
- A field worker completes tasks offline on mobile; the entries sync when the
connection returns.
- VNCproject is for managed projects, portfolios and financials; VNCtask is for
the individual and team work around them.
