Search your messages
Search looks through your message history, including conversations that are not currently open.
- Open the conversation you want to search, then select Search in the room
header. To search everything, open the command palette with
/orCtrl+K(Cmd+Kon macOS) and choose Search. - Type your query.
- Narrow the results with the filters: conversation, sender, or starred only.
- Select a result to jump to it in the conversation.
Result
Section titled “Result”Matching messages appear, with the most recent first. Results include messages from the local history and from the server archive.
